Yes! We are now legally a single credit union with a combined membership. Member One operates as a division of VACU, and every member who joined through Member One enjoys all the rights and privileges that come with VACU membership, in accordance with VACU’s bylaws, including participation in the VACU Annual Meeting. Is the meeting going to be in person this year? Yes, the meeting will be held in person at VACU headquarters, as well as virtually. What do I need to bring if I am planning to attend the meeting in person? Please have a valid ID and your member number with you if you are planning to attend the meeting in person. Please also keep personal belongings to a minimum. Bags will be subject to a security check upon entering the building. How will I access the meeting if I don’t plan to attend in person? If you plan to attend the meeting virtually, on the day of the meeting, you will need to come back to this page on VACU’s website. Once on the page, there will be a link to access the meeting . You will click the link and enter your member number and the last four digits of your SSN. (Member One member numbers can be found on a product “details” page within online banking, or on a physical Member One check. VACU member numbers can be found on your statement or e-statement.) I am a member of both Member One and Virginia Credit Union. Which member number do I enter to access the meeting either virtually or in person? You may use either member number to attend the meeting. If a vote were to occur and I am a member of both Member One and Virginia Credit Union, can I vote with both member numbers? No. If a vote were to occur, you may only vote once with the member number you used to attend the meeting.
