Over the last 10 years, Virginia Credit Union and its employees have contributed more than $200,000 to advance pediatric health services at Children’s Hospital through research, training, and uncompensated care.Because employee outreach activities were curtailed in 2020 due to COVID-19, Virginia Credit Union made good on a commitment from its employee-directed community outreach committee. At the end of the basketball season, Virginia Credit Union followed up on the year-end gift with an additional contribution based on the number of assists made by the men’s and women’s VCU Rams basketball teams. Based on 652 assists, Virginia Credit Union is contributing an additional $1,304 to CMN.Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU is a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital and provides a full range of pediatric services for children.“Virginia Credit Union employees care deeply about the community and those in need.
