VACU Offers $100 Incentive to Savers at VCU

Virginia Credit Union is helping college students at VCU establish an emergency savings fund this fall with the Rams Rainy Day Fund Savings Program.

The program is being rolled out to VCU students beginning this week and will reward those who open a savings account with a $50 deposit, participate in financial coaching appointments and complete an online financial check-up. Those who meet the requirements will receive a $100 bonus? in December.

Representatives from Virginia Credit Union will be on campus over the next several weeks to meet with students, explain the program and open new savings accounts.
