Credit Union Makes A Big Assist to Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU

Virginia Credit Union has added $1,436 to its year-end gift of $25,000 to Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU.

The local hospital has been Virginia Credit Union’s employee-designated charity of choice for a decade. Over the last decade, Virginia Credit Union and its employees have contributed more than $225,000 to advance pediatric health services at CHoR through research, training, and programmatic support.

Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU is an affiliated Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, providing a full range of pediatric services for children in our region.

The credit union showed its support for Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU at the VCU Rams basketball game on Tuesday, February 8, presenting a year-end check for $25,000. Now that the men’s and women’s seasons have ended, the credit union added $1,436 based on the number of assists both teams made during the 2021-2022 season.
