News & Events Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Email VACU Cancels Annual Meeting on March 21March 17, 2020 | Richmond, VAVirginia Credit Union is following the order of Governor Ralph Northam and guidance from numerous health officials about curtailing public gatherings in order to reduce the spread of the coronavirus.The credit union will cancel its annual member meeting scheduled for Saturday, March 21. Neither the social portion of the meeting nor the business meeting will be held on Saturday.“The health, safety and financial well-being of members is the credit union’s chief concern,” explained Chris Shockley, President/CEO in an email to registered members. The business portion of the annual meeting will be rescheduled at a future date and location to be determined.
