VACU Announced as VCU Basketball's First Ever Presenting Sponsor

Forging two of the strongest brands in Central Virginia, Virginia Credit Union will serve as the title sponsor for the 2023-24 VCU Men's and Women's Basketball seasons, via a partnership brokered and executed by VCU Sports Properties. The partnership is the first of its kind for VCU Athletics, as it promises to elevate the VACU brand, as well as bolster the resources VCU uses to compete on the court.

Virginia Credit Union's partnership with VCU Basketball signifies a significant milestone for both organizations. With this sponsorship, Virginia Credit Union aims to enhance its branding, increase visibility through static signage in the arena, create engaging content, and provide Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) opportunities for VCU student-athletes.

"Our corporate partners are extremely important to us and Virginia Credit Union has been a been a loyal and engaged partner for over a decade," said VCU Vice President and Director of Athletics Ed McLaughlin. "They challenged us to find opportunities for them to be even more connected to our two programs and we couldn't think of a more visible way than to have them be seen locally, regionally and nationally in a title sponsor role."
