Award-Winning Distillery Grows Through Personal Attention

“It takes a personal touch to make an exceptional whiskey,” says David Cuttino, who along with lifelong friend Jay Carpenter, opened Reservoir Distillery at 1800A Summit Avenue in Richmond.

Cuttino and Carpenter transformed a former soda bottling and distribution plant in Scott’s Addition into a Double Gold Award winning distillery of distinctive wheat, rye and bourbon whiskeys. From the start, quality ingredients, local sourcing, and attention to detail have been the hallmarks of Reservoir’s growth and success.
