Personal Line of Credit FAQs

I paid off my personal line of credit and want to borrow again. Do I need to re-apply?

A personal line of credit does not have a fixed term like a loan. It’s a flexible way to get money when you need it without having to re-apply.

How can I access my line of credit?

You can access your personal line of credit yourself by making a transfer to your VACU checking account using online banking, mobile banking or QuikLine Phone Banking. Through QuikLine, you can request that a check be sent to you. You can also call Member Services or visit a branch.

Does my interest rate remain the same until the balance is paid off?

Personal lines of credit have variable rates, so the rate may vary monthly based on the prime rate.

How do I request a credit limit increase?

To request a credit limit increase apply online, visit a branch or call Member Services at 804-323-6800.
