To Benefit FeedMore
(Richmond, VA, July 6, 2016) – Virginia Credit Union is making a pitch to help FeedMore by enlisting the Richmond Flying Squirrels to strike out hunger.
VACU is making a $5 donation for every strike out thrown by a Richmond Flying Squirrels pitcher during the 2016 season. The program draws attention to the good work of FeedMore with frequent announcements during home games at the Diamond.
VACU will tally the results and present a check to FeedMore at a home game on August 31. So far this season, Flying Squirrels pitchers have racked up 614 strike outs.
Members and employees of Virginia Credit Union are generous supporters of FeedMore at document shredding events and through employee food drives and other efforts.
