Previous work experience with marketing databases or other databases is required. An immediate level of proficiency with Excel is also required. Experience with Microsoft Access and PowerPoint is preferred. Experience in marketing and the financial services is a plus. A college degree in marketing or related field is preferred.

VP Infrastructure Operations |

This position provides strategic and operational leadership, direction and management in planning, implementing, and maintaining VACU enterprise infrastructure services. Functions include planning for, and implementing architecture design, systems engineering, maintenance, and support of company-wide technology infrastructure systems including local and wide area networks, mainframe, servers, workstations, laptops, and all telecommunications. Individual must understand the current business environment and how to effectively leverage technology to support business objectives. Position requires close working relationship with internal and external business partners to ensure stable member services while identifying opportunities to maintain flexibility and drive efficiencies in infrastructure solutions. Position is also accountable for providing clear direction and day-to-day management to staff for the short and long-term goals of the department. Prerequisites for this position are Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or appropriate combination of education and significant experience. ITIL certification a plus, requires extensive demonstrated experience in a leadership/senior management role. Experience in a financial institution and overall knowledge of financial institution products and services is desired. Requires demonstrated experience in managing a complex computing systems environment. Demonstrated experience with strategic planning and proactive operational efficiency initiatives that enable progressive business processes. Must have experience in customer support and a strong service orientation, strong leadership and management skills, and a demonstrated ability to communicate and work collaboratively with all levels and all sectors of the user community. Significant prior experience having infrastructure management responsibility for a multi-location environment.

Servicing Operations Supervisor - ATM/Debit |

This individual is primarily responsible for managing the daily functions of the Debit Card and ATM Card operations in the Servicing Operations Department. This individual is responsible for all issuing and maintenance of cards as well as all ATM/POS and network settlement and reconciliation. Additional responsibilities include maintaining and ensuring that all tasks are completed in accordance with the departmental policies and procedures and federal rules and regulations. The incumbent will facilitate employee training and development/coaching to ensure continued quality member service and efficient operations in conjunction with the credit union brand and provide support to the Servicing Operations AVP. Prerequisites: High school degree required. Additional business courses preferred or equivalent approved work experience. Significant experience in a public contact position at a credit union or other financial institution required. Significant Debit/Credit or ATM card experience required. Previous supervisory or senior/lead experience required. Word processing and spreadsheet software experience required. Reconciliation/Accounting experience required. Training experience required. Excellent oral communication and member relation skills. Should have a calm and professional disposition. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and be flexible. Analytical abilities, attention to detail and good organizational skills are a plus. Must have the ability to process transactions with accuracy as well as resolve problems and handle multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Must have a desire to work, learn and enjoy a fast paced ever-changing environment.

The successful candidate must be able to work between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday - Friday and provide exceptional support to all areas of Member Services and the branches. This position will consistently provide Quality Service to members and all co-workers throughout the Credit Union with an emphasis in product/share knowledge. Act as back up support to all functions in the Contact Center, On Line Services, and Support Services. Provide excellent quality service to our membership when answering inbound escalated and resolution calls. Resolve any member issues coming directly from the members, Contact Center, Branches, AVP & EVP Member Services and CEO. Provide information to our members regarding all products and services offered by VACU. Receives and answers telephone and written inquiries regarding deposit accounts which require research and problem resolution. Requirements include a High school degree required. College or business related courses preferred. Thorough knowledge of deposit accounts, products and services is preferred as well as prior experience in a financial, customer service and sales environment. Must have experience in handling member requests involving troubleshooting and research. Individual must have good judgment and the ability to work independently. Must have mentoring or training experience, and demonstrate leadership qualities. Must be proficient with PC’s and have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. In addition experience with various software applications such as: Evolve, Streamlend, Visa DPS and others is preferred. Must have excellent knowledge of financial services preferably products and services offered by Credit Unions/financial institutions. Must be able to operate a computer and other office equipment. This person must be skillful when working with details such as numbers and names and must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills. This individual must have the ability to effectively communicate with members and on all levels within VACU. This person must be able to handle stressful or difficult situations in a calm manner and be able to handle multiple priorities in a timely manner without direct supervision. This person is reliable, detail-oriented, and flexible and has the ability to act as a role model to the Member Services department. The individual must have the ability to consistently provide excellent service. Must be able to sit for long periods of time. This person must be able to lift up to twenty pounds with reasonable accommodation. Must be able to speak clearly, and see clearly with reasonable accommodation.
This person should have the ability to accommodate flexible schedules including Saturday, overtime and extended hours.

The successful candidates will receive and answer telephone inquiries regarding deposit and loan accounts while promoting credit union products and services and consistently giving quality service to our customers and co-workers. Must have previous customer contact experience in a busy financial institution or retail outfit, specifically in handling customer requests and inquiries. Previous PC experience required. Must have prior automated call center experience.

This position will travel between the Fredericksburg and Cosner's Corner branches.
Must be able to meet all customer-related needs through establishing member relationships by providing quality service and cross selling products and services that meet customer needs; follows sales and service customer interation model to meet customer needs and make appropriate recommendations; handles each transaction proficiently and accurately; accepts and services loan requests; opens IRAs; responds to customer inquiries; performs basic safe deposit box processes and acts as in a teller capacity when needed. Must have prior cash handling/customer service experience, preferably at a financial institution. Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel to all assigned locations and work the varying hours of any assigned branch.
